Trust Associate

My Role at Covenant

My role at Covenant consists of assisting with operations and accounting to provide accurate client records as well as building effective processes. This entails reconciling accounts and assisting accounting with keeping proper records to ensure our clients have accurate and easy to understand statements.

I also assist in client service to ensure our clients’ needs are met properly. This requires me to work with new clients to ensure the on-boarding process is simple and worry free. I work with various parties related to the clients and the trust to ensure that necessary documents are completed and that our onboarding process remains consistent. I also work with clients throughout the life of their account, paying expenses for trusts and beneficiaries, ensuring any other client needs are met and that clients have a positive experience working with First Covenant Trust and Advisors.

Education and Experience

I attended the University of Montana and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Following my undergraduate studies I moved back to my hometown of Johnson City, Tennessee to attend East Tennessee State University and pursue my Master of Accountancy degree with a concentration in controllership. I am currently in the process of earning my CPA. Prior to starting with First Covenant Trust full time in January of 2022, I completed an internship with FCTA, as well as an internship in the audit department of Blackburn Childers and Steagall, CPAs.

Community Involvement and Personal Notes

While attending University of Montana I was a founding member of the DECA chapter and served as the accounting chair. I also worked with a non-profit called Big Brother Big Sister for four years. Big Brother Big Sister is a mentor program for youth in the state of Montana. In my free time I enjoy volunteering, being outside, fishing, and playing chess.
